HOW TO MAKE POPCORN FROM A RETRO POPCORN MAKER
Turn on the switch on the left. This will turn the light and warmer on (keep on when in use).
Open the lid on the top of the kettle and pour in two large measures of corn kernels and one small measure of corn oil.
Turn on the additional switch to start the kettle heater and the agitator / stirrer.
After a few minutes (about 8 minutes) the corn will start to pop.
When the popcorn has stopped popping, turn off the right side additional switch (heater / agitator).
If this is not done the oil and the heat of the kettle will burn the popcorn inside it.
Turn the kettle handle half a turn and swing the kettle to expel the popcorn inside.
Repeat the above steps to make more popcorn.
After about every ten kettles of corn popped, remove silver tray on the bottom front and dispose of the waste corn, replace tray before popping and serving corn.
When finished turn off all switches and leave to cool.
MAKING POPCORN SWEET OR SAVOURY
For sweet popcorn sprinkle one teaspoon of sugar over the popcorn in the bag and shake.
For savoury (salted) shake the salt in the salt pot over the top of the popcorn in the bag to taste. (About 6 shakes).
CLEANING
With warm soapy water wash top, base and sides (inside and outside), wiping dry with a cloth.
